I wanted to share with the group my signed Ted Williams $1 note. I'm an autograph collector and I've had this in my collection of over 10 years.

As both a baseball fan and currency collector, I have to say that is great! Along with Mays, I consider Williams the 2 greatest hitters.

That's pretty spectacular! I highly recommend that you get it authenticated.

Also - I assume you took it out of a holder to photograph, but if not, get some protection for it.

with the comments.

Authentication is a must! PSA, maybe.

Through happenstance, I'm a Red Sox fan (sorry to disappoint anyone ). I liked his attitude, even though it didn't go over well often with fans and press. He was certainly a learned hitter.

*I breathe a sigh of relief.* Others are actually interested in baseball...

Very cool note, and the courtesy autograph looks legit when compared to known signatures.

As a kid, I had his name on some of my fishing gear.

Very nice! I am a lifelong Red Sox fan, and from what I know of the "splendid splinter" his autograph is hard to come by. My understanding is that he did not sign many items, especially later in his life.

That's great. Huge Ted Williams fan out here in Boston. I have a Steven Tyler autographed dollar. My brothers girlfriend met him when we were in high school and knew I was an Aerosmith fan but had nothing else to have him sign for me. I haven't seen her for years, but still have that bill.
