Yes on packaging margins - I would say the NCLT collectors are willing / ready to spend some money but many holding back if it's just all about the packaging and the silver content mere filler...

Too bad the Sculpture coins didn't do well in secondary market. I was hoping to grab the cougar at the boutique (trying to use up my $x for $x coins)

The April Elk sculpture coin looks like the best coin in the series so far. It is priced at $939 for VIP members at Colonial Acres.
The Sculpture coins did not do well on the secondary market because they are expensive. Like most expensive coins, they are not flippable. Besides the 2013 Gold Superman coin, I don't know of too many expensive coins doing well on the secondary market. That goes for 5 oz, 10 oz, 1/2 kilo, and Kilo coins.
Buy the sculpture coin if you want it for your collection but don't expect to make money from it.

I think the sculpture coins aren't doing too well because they are hardly coins. Try a coin toss. I call tails.

Curious that the RCM releases did not include the Star Trek coins seen in the Colonial Acres site. Also, according to my rep, there is a sell out alert for the Confederation coin. 92.5% sold out with 75 left. Update: the Confederation coin and subscription are now awaiting stock. Another Update: Sold Out for the Confederation coin. All the coins are now on the RCM site for Prestige and Platinum Plus members.

And C/A didn't have the regular design special wrap circulation coins in a box for $185. So now it's $370 for circulation strikes in fancy wrapping paper with two boxes...and no room for the two rolls of 50 cent pieces...for another $50.

The coin is beautiful. But not "affordable collector's choice"...

The first 10 oz Confederation Coin is nice! Not sure I like the other two coins in the set though.

they average. Imo - do not worth to subscribe for all series. First - really great and nice, the second is average, and the third is enlarged remake of current Silver Dollar.

Well....I did buy both sets of the wrapped 2017 coins as well as the 2 fifty cent rolls. The 10 ounce medallion coins do not interest me at all. I just wish that the new 4 coin series "sacrifice" set would come with a wooden box instead of singles. What is with the RCM not doing this? Also, the lilac tree has no custom box; whereas last year cherry blossom did. I think they are really pinching pennies with the packaging:((((((( CC&C should probably have the new RCM releases out today for their VIP members and if someone is interested in still getting that 10 ounce medallion, this could be their opportunity by just calling them if not a VIP. NOTHING really exciting this month at all!

Just basically too many issues each months, maybe one or two looks interesting but lost in the clutter.

I'm not noticing two sets of wrapped 2017 coins. Only the 150 design. You're saying the 2017 classic design is sold in a boxed set as well?
