Certainly no need for me to get anything other than the proofs. Edged dates cannot be read in my albums.

I will only have an EU dollar this time because of the EU mint set.

I have read that a guy asked at the DC Mint gift shop about the coin and currency set and they told him it was still on for this year, with a release date in November. So, as long as the clerk wasn't confused or lying, it looks like we will get a 2017 EU NA coin and currency. I guess as others pointed out, it would have to be minted in a mint other than S.

Perhaps a silver version minted at West Point?

Are you saying that there's some sort of requirement that it couldn't be minted in San Francisco or are you simply saying that they'd have to produce it at another mint for people to be interested in it?

I'm saying it would have to be other than "s" because of the enhanced uncirculated Native American dollar that was included in the EU set was said by the mint to be exclusive to the set.

From the mint webpage:

Item Number: 17XC
Mintage Limit: 225,000
Product Limit: 225,000
Household Order Limit: None

Not if they don't sell out the full mintage which it doesn't look like they will and do a lower mintage version of the C and C set. They could also just change up how they "enhanced" it and that would technically be a different version

I am skeptical about a 2017 C&C set at this point, but I certainly would be a buyer.

With only 6 items left on the Mint's product schedule, the 2017 NA C&C set is not listed. I doubt there will be one.

True. However, like others, I doubt they will offer the Coin and Currency set this year. I would not be a buyer so it does not bother me.
