Can't see much luster from the pics. An earlier dip perhaps washed it out. Just no dazzle for an UNC.

Do you think the reverse stain or tarnish will details this piece?

If you're talking about the carbon spots they shouldn't "details" it. They do hurt the eye appeal and hold it to 63 though.

Brought it to my dealer today he said solid 63 maybe 64, he also nicely removed the residue on the reverse, which he thought could have been residual rubber band staining. It's on it's way to PCGS next week along with a few others. Now we wait for the results from PCGS in a month or so. It's looking like my $40 gamble may pay off big time.

Having not read any other posts I would have said AU58 due to the rub on the cheeks which is clearly visible in the second picture. Reverse has much better luster than the obverse, that's probably due to pics...
Don't know why it didn't save the rest. Was saying this coin looks like a lock for a full grade MS63 as pretty much everyone else has said the same and I agree.

Looks like a 64.

Well I gave it to my friend to send out to PCGS along with a 1897 S to be regraded, as well as 3 CC GSA's 1882-1884. If the 28 S comes back a 64 I will do a backflip and if per some slim chance it is a 65, well I don't know what I will do LOL. But honestly I am 100% sure it'll be a 63+ or a 64.

PCGS graded it a 63. Not mad, as I have $60 total including grading...now it's worth over $400
