1971 D Kennedy Half, I Need Help With This One!

First the Jefferson die clash,Then I got this coin and an Ike bicen from the store. But this coin has incused marks on the reverse that don't match up for a clash.So I'm at a loss as to how these markes got there. I changed the color of some of the pics so that they can be seen easier. The square mark to the west that runs between the wing and the olive branch can be seen with the naked eye. Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 03/21/2017 4:43 pm Think its hair betwixt the arrows and right wing. The left does appear to be the nose although is slightly rotated CCW. Nice pick up, you apparently have the eye for these, I don't have the eyes nor patience for it! Report this Post to the Staff

Newbie234 Pillar of the Community United States 1386 Posts	Posted 03/22/2017 12:21 pm I think I figured it out. Thanks to the help of the community and oddly enough another 71 D I have. The line that runs between the 2 olive leaves is the top side of the eye,There is also a very tiny line that comes from the middle talon south and east that is the top of the hair line(My second coin this line is much more pronounced).The line from the right wing to the arrows is the back hair line. I'm really happy,Yesterday I found 2 die clashes and an Ike dollar! Yeah BAYBAY! Report this Post to the Staff
