This is the best example I have seen in a long time. Almost perfect "L". Very nice coin--even though it has been cleaned. Comments.

@chase007 The L is present on all Indian Head cents from 1865 -1909. It is the initial of Longacre- the designer. The 1864 cent had different varieties some with and some without the L. The ones with the L are scarcer and more valuable.
