Putting too much faith in the PCGS/NGC/etc. "experts'" opinions is folly. Think about it...people nowadats are even paying CAC's "experts" to verify the "experts" who slabbed the coins were "expert" enough to get it right!
A couple years ago someone tried to start a business (I think it was called MACACs?) to get people to pay the MACAC "experts" would verify if the CAC "experts" had done their job properly.
Where does it end? When people run out of money and the psychological "need" to have an "expert's"stamp of approval. Don't hold your breath.

Sure, it is nice to be able to have a beautiful collection of slabbed Morgans all with a uniform grade on the label. But the fact is if these Morgans were broken out and resubmitted, the grades returned on the new slabs would likely not all match the old slabs' grades.
The prices differ b/c people put their faith in the numbers printed on the labels. Or... again...why would CAC even be able to exist?
The market for these printed numbers will likely always exist b/c the marketing people have done their jobs well. When new people enter the hobby, they see the numerous slabbed coins on ebay and an automatic level of legitimacy is set into their minds. But "Buy the coin and not the slab" are the words of wisdom echoed over and over on this forum and others.
Having said all of that, I firmly believe if a person enjoys the slabs and how they look - then they should go for it. This is a hobby and should be fun.

Most people can afford MS63 and don't care about MS64 but MS65 is usually a big jump in price.

How much squash could a Sasquatch squash if a Sasquatch would squash squash?
