Please check these photo's out- besides the die chip that is present, is there anything to the impression above the L. Is this possibly one of the letters from the word "Pluribus" on the obverse coming thru?

Opinions welcomed.

I am not seeing a die chip.

If you are referring to the top right section of the L, than what I see is post mint damage. You can see how the letter has been filleted off and pushed upwards and to the right.

Due to the wear on this one, I am not able to see if there is any clashing going on. I can tell that you are checking your coins carefully though. I can see an addiction forming.

Upon closer examination- You are correct again!-
it is not a die chip :(
I missed the part along the l where it got gouged- Post Mint Damage strikes again (LOL)

Still don't know about the clashing- probably not- wishful thinking on my part- start to see things that are not there, like imaginary letters!

Thanks again for your expertise.

I wouldn't go calling myself an expert. I think I would get a lot of from other members. I've just asked a lot of the same questions. I'm glad I can start answering some.

As for the clashing, look very close, I just found a clashed N on a coin that I had previously checked. It took many pictures and many different angles to verify it, but it's confirmed now.
