After all the hype about the 2000 $1 mule I thought I'd have a look at what I had for this year.
I don't know if it's just the wear on one coin but there seems to be something different about these two coins?

Are-These-2000-$1-Coins-Different?

The head looks a little different and the writing seems to be closer to the rim on one of them ... or is it just my imagination!

It's hard to tell using that photo, because it was taken on an angle, but the coin on the right appears to have been damaged by a rolling machine, whereas the one on the left is unscathed.

I'll try to get some better photos, using natural lighting, in the morning.

Really no need to bother with better pics, they're not mules, so I reckon that's the main thing that the op was wanting to know.

Just normal 2000 $1 coins.
life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved

This is about as clear a photo as I can get.

I know that neither are mules it's just that sometimes a coin will catch your eye as being somehow different ... maybe it's just the wear that makes the writing appear closer to the rim and the head look larger?
