My wife has been ill for some time. She passed away 02/24/2017. I've been dealing with that for sometime. She was in and out of the hospital since last June. But suddenly turn a turn for the worse. So dealing with the lost, dealing with getting affairs arranged and now dealing with a move, my life has been pretty distracted. But it will get better. But I will be spending some time away from my location to visit family and friends through the years ahead.
But I'm proud of the forum and how it has advanced coin knowledge and how to be kind to one another in sharing the hobby to new ones. I often don't comment if a thread is answered correctly. I step up when adjustment needs to be made. So I'm sorry I've not been here as much as I used to be.
The more was not far, just a change in my life with space that I used to have and no longer don't have. So I appreciate the ones stepping up and helping with my images. They actually belong to many here on the forum. I just edit them to show what I see in them. So I'm glad to see the tradition to continue. I'll still be here as much as possible. If you think I missed a post from times back, but bump it back up and I can take a look at it. (just type 'bump" on the threads) My email address has not, just some personal things have. I love the forum as it keeps my mind sharp. You just don't know what new thing may come up.
So thanks all for understanding and putting up with me. I'll be here to help as much as I can. (just need to relocate all my stuff at home.

For all the care I've received back from the forum. As a coin family when one hurts, other care. This is not the first time we have experienced this and probably will not be the last. But as a family we all care for one another.

coop, sincere condolences from the wife and I on the loss of your wife. I have only been around here a short time but from my very first post, I was informed of 'coop'. Each time I see a post that you make, I read it carefully, as you obviously have a stellar reputation here on this site. Our prayers are with you and I am in total agreement with BigSilver . Thanks for what you have already taught me.

I am saddened to hear about your wife. We have missed you here on the forum, but we all understand there is life away from the computer. I sincerely hope everything goes well for you during the new adjustments. Sometimes change can be difficult, especially when we are missing a big part of ourselves. Have faith in God, He can give you comfort through this. Take care my friend.
