Thanks Jc very interesting read and very valuable knowledge. I read somewhere that the counterfeits hemming made are worth quite a high premium. Also I sent an email to Cuds on coins about a couple State Quarters and havent heard anything just wondering if they would be worth submitting here is the link http://goccf.com/t/284206

Coop are the proofs made of the same alloy mix as the business strikes during the war? The reason I ask is I read they put the large mm on the coins so they could take them back out of circulation after the war but if they put the large mm on the proofs surely they didn't expect to get those back as well .
