@Svein Erik, ok yes thanks. I have been looking in Kolbjorn Skaare's "Coins and Coinage in Viking-Age Norway", but have been unable to find your specific coin. A couple notes:
1. It seems that a fairly high percentage of coins have been cut down into halves or quarters, with a few at odd denominations--perhaps 1/3 and 2/3? Many of these clipped coins follow the arms of the cross, but at least one is the same of yours (where the cut was made in between the arms).
2. As might be expected, there have been several German coins found in as part of hoards and ground burials. Of those pictured, the Swabish (from Augsburg) and Bavarian (from Regensburg) have that same cross. Your earlier post is an example of this.
