Hey, what would be the going rate for a 1924 Soviet-era Russian Rouble, graded AU-53 in an ANACS holder? I passed on one last night that sold for about $30. Should I have placed just one more bid?

Book value for that coin is $50 EF and $100 UNC. In a ANACS holder I would think the price would lean more toward the UNC price.

If I was looking for a bargain I would have bid up to $45.

Thanks for the info fellas! GXSeries, I have no idea whether it has one "arista" or two (referring to your link), but it was a decent-looking coin with nice luster and a strongly-detailed strike. Next time I see the buyer I'll ask if he's tired of it yet and ready to unload it. I have two rouble coins from Tsarist Russia, but nothing from the Soviet era (yet).
