I share your passion for the early coppers, Dollarman. IMHO, it's a G-6, but it could slab as VG, given the better than average planchet and the propensity of TPG'ers to be more forgiving on these early issues.
On the plus side, the date and legends are there. As is often the case with the Nova's, the central regions are well worn. Sadly, to me, the all seeing eye of God is worn smooth. The Nova's are one of the early, Godly coins of America and telling of our history as such.
