I'm really lost as to what could've caused this. All the areas are at field height or flat with the field. I would really like to hear your thoughts on this one! Thanks in advance.

Looks like die gouges,maybe Feeder Finger Damage.

Looks like light Feeder Finger Damage that John1 mentioned. First time I've seen it this light before.

looks like the planchet was scratched before die punched ,would be my bet . nice find , nice pics , love the eye
