Here is a 19mm arabic coin that I've searched for hours in books and online. Need help if anyone recognizes it.

The date looks to be 1222, with a regnal year of 78. With such a date like that, it means this is an imitation of a gold Ottoman coin used for jewelry purposes. These are often referred to as belly dancer tokens.

@joseph, I agree most likely made for jewelry (such as belly dancing). I wonder, though, most of these that get posted to CCF seem to have the same inscription on the front as back. This one has the toughra on one side. Is the more intricate design perhaps indicative of this piece being older (say early to mid-1900s, as opposed to more modern 2000s)?
