Here is a little 14mm coin I can't identify. A lot of the detail is gone but the date is pretty visible. Anyone recognize the coin. Thanks Edited by bluewideglide 04/12/2017 8:32 pm

Interesting coin. Not sure if the date is correct. How do you know it is Silver?

The date is a lot clearer looking at the coin and honesty not sure it's silver but it looks like every other old silver coin I have.

It looks like possibly "German States Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel" coin, but date does not match, 1786? Can you double check the date? I can't make it out from the picture.
Another possibility is a Colonial coin. Many had that inner circular design.

I think it's close however the size of the coin fits better with KM 276. The coin is about 14.5mm. Guess that's close enough for me. Thanks

I doubt a 2 millimetre difference would be that important; older coins seem less consistent with their sizes, and maybe the many people who have handled this coin had something to do with it. Looking specifically at KM#276, the mint mark is located beneath the design on the side without the lion, which I do not see on your coin. Plus, if you can see the last digit of the date as a six, it also means it would not be KM#276.
