Anyway, I've been thinking that it might be fun to start a thread dedicated to Crusader coins, roughly based on Malloy, Preston, and Seltman's catalog, "Coins of the Crusader States". I would follow the general outline of the book's chapters, with opportunities for CCF folk to post their coins of different areas during different weeks. I think that this thread structure can help educate others about the wide variety of geographies represented by this series and have had pretty good luck with this format previously:

Therefore, I'd like to propose a friendly amendment to your request for us to add our Crusader coins to the bottom of this thread.
If you are cool with waiting a few days, I'll set up a separate thread and make this happen.
