Die wear and the re-plating as mentioned makes this stand out. The coins when they are re-plated loose collector value. They look nice, but every coin that is re-plated looks nice, it is just not an original finish on the coin. (what collectors really want) Non collectors go gaga for these. Keep in mint this year had the steel planchets and steel dies, so they dies wore down faster and strange events happened on coin more often on this one year run.

So the nice and shiny steel penny from Littleton coin is a replate?

Yes it's re-plated ,it should have been on the label from Litltleton.
