They are making a cool $18 profit per coin that they sell, and the entire time the guy kept saying how there was no place cheaper to get them. Apparently, he didn't realize that you can get them from the mint. I watched until I thought I was going to puke, then I changed the channel. that should really be a crime.

On an average coin by coin basis I paid an average of $16.00 per coin to complete my two sets. I have been collecting them for about 10 years, one here and there, $12.00 is below the melt value of the coins, at current silver prices. When I got my sets filled in 2006, the up-keep on them should have been an easy thing, I was able to get the 2007's for $11.00 per coin, but had to give $19.50 per 2008. I hope this helps a bit, remember that Silver Eagles are bullion coins and are directly tied to the current spot market. So if silver goes up so do they! Keep shopping around there are deals out there!
