I keep reading about people buying coins by the box from the bank. What do the various boxes cost?

halves are, like you said, 500. The dollar coins come in rolls of 25 and cost 1000.

Thanks for the responses. What makes a bu as opposed to unc? And how do you go about selling something like that. I've got two rolls of 2007P that look like they just came out of the mint.

BU

is short for brilliant unc.

Unc. is just uncirculated

so I'm guessing BU are more preferable.

gotten from CCF glossary

you dont get BU coins out of Circulated rolls lol. BU stands for Brilant Uncirculated and means just that. once it has been circulated and rerolled it can only br circulated.

I've found nicer coins in re-rolled rolls then I have in BU rolls. So you can find BU coins in circulated rolls. Its not really where or how you get them, its all about the condition.

all the coin before they started rolling them are circulated the old 50.00 bag. if they move they become circulated.they also become circulated from being made did you watch how they make coin they do fly around hitting things.only proof coins they do put more care in there production

I agree with ceaton - you can find BU coins in rolls. BU is a condition or grade, not a state of mind.
