You are not going to believe how many different dates, mints and type coins there was in this box . You ready for the results? Here ya go! Ready? Drum roll please..................... Here it comes............ There are 50 rolls of 2000-P BU kennedy halfs in this box . That's it. I only opened two rolls but it's obvious from the end coins that I can see that all the rolls are 2000-P uncirculated halfs. Now what ?

Hummm......They'll be some ebay'ers saying try that first and foremost I'm sure......you never know.....
otherwise.......i'd take em' back and try again myself !........that's a lot of money to "keep for future profit returns".......like 30 years from now when the Mint has melted down all of their stocks of the Kennedy half and stops minting them even for collectors....which "will" happen someday.....and the coin then becomes "rarer"........
If you need a roll...keep a roll.....then try ebay......or just dump em'.....I say........but, a single BU 2000 P OR D coin isn't that hard to get right now for albums and such.......so...I wouldn't break up the case if ya went online to sell obviously.
Someone could be very attracted to a whole box of BU 2000 Kennedy's on ebay though......try it !

I've given up on roll hunting. 1 40% clad average every 15 rolls is just not worth my time or the gas to drive to the bank.

1sikevo............

That's actually a GOOD AVERAGE !!........I average ONE 40%er in A WHOLE $500.00 BOX CONTAINING 50 ROLLS!......(or at least recently anyway)
But it's that "silver fever"......i can never quit completely !...I always come back to it eventually and try my luck one more time !...Ha Ha

I did a box last week and retrieved 1-90% and 7-40%; also 1-83s and 1-97s. I didn't think that was so bad so I ordered another for grins. nlp

After doing great with boxes for weeks I've hit a real dry spell; 8 boxes between last week and today, ONE 40%.

I've noticed also that finding any type of silver in half dollar boxes has become very rare these days. However, there have been numerous times when I was just about to take a break for awhile when I would come across an awesome box that would get me excited all over again. It is great to find silver at face value, but the thrill is definitely in the hunt! I'm keeping my fingers crossed as I am going to pick two boxes of halves tomorrow from the bank.
