I think this one is an earlier die state, than that of the VAM-1AE1,because it doesn't show a chip (yet)in the upper loop of the second "S" in STATES.Although the die cracks seem to match. There is just not as many of them as on the plate coin.
The Feeder Finger Damage and the scribbles of the VAM-1DC doesn't look the same, but there is only the two photo's too go off of.So it's hard to tell.I'm guessing that it may be some where in the middle of the two?
Being an earlier die state, does that effect the rarity factor for the VAM?

If this isn't an earlier die state of 1AE1 it would be the most evil of evil mimics. I'm not sure what the rarity would be. There are 12 1AE1 examples in the census and the census listing skips over 1DC for some reason.

Hehehe,OK,Thanks Dave!
I bought a 7171 date set album and I am trying to VAM them as I put them in.Although I don't have the '93,'94,and'95,yet.I have managed to VAM all the others, going into the book, except for the 1899 and it is giving Me a hard time.Just have too spend more time on it I guess.
Thanks again.
