Someone polished or sanded the rims to remove the copper plating. @Spruett, http://www.lincolncentresource.com/...anchets.html I had to look it up, but the existence of a type two zinc planchet suggests it gets plated after they're upset. biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 04/28/2017 3:24 pm Regardless of what caused it, the fact remains that the edge was intentionally beveled which removed the copper plating in the process.
