Simpleman New Member United States 7 Posts	Posted 05/31/2023 2:08 pm A lamination error is when a fragment of metal is peeled of the surface of the coin. This occurs when dirt or another substance is stuck in the metal strip used for blanks and is stuck in the metal strip as it is rolled out to the standards of its use.look closely at the letter ( U ) in the word (Quarter).
