EF-45/AU-50 details. This coin is cleaned IMO and a very common date. I don't think you paid way too much for it, but....

EDIT:
I assume that you are posting the price to get a feeling of whether you got a good deal or not. To help yourself in the future. That is the only reason that I am sharing my frank opinion. I do not intend to be judgmental nor harsh. Please let me know if I am reading this wrong.

It's a nice Peace dollar . . I don't see a lot of wear in the usual places, nor do I see cleaning scratch marks . . I would go . . dare I say . . MS60

AU53. What is your goal in buying these?

Glad to hear that you are enjoying yourself, that matters a lot. I find a lot of collectors are humorless. It's always challenging because the coins we encounter often don't fit the mold that we create with our tastes and preferences, but then again, you never know what you are going to run into tomorrow.

I agree 100%. I don't take it to serious it's not my career just something I enjoy. I found that most collectors get frustrated with novice such as myself and tend to be short or rude. I just want to learn more so I can enjoy better coins in my collection. Thank you for your feedback and down to earth response. It makes this more enjoyable.
