AU-55+ , this coin is not that far off from being it's original gem that it once was . Dripping with a lot of mint luster still left ,but was unfortunately mishandled for some time as tiny scratches plague this coin on both sides . Not sure of value .

VERY nice coin. I like it. I couldn't grade this, but at least the AU 55 of T-BOP maybe higher.

AU-55/58. Nice coin. I'd agree with the above. Should be conserved.

AU50-53, too many scratches and rubs for a high grade AU.

 The scratches are a negative that should be accounted for by a net grade of AU-50 or so. The marks on the cheek almost look like graffiti but I think overall it would not be certified as a problem coin. Conservation might help, but there are no guarantees. PCGS values this coin at $425 in AU-50; a realistic sell price might be $300 or so. Pretty nice coin!

Thanks for all replies. Overall consensus is about AU-55 it seems. Perhaps worth sending to a TPG for conservation and slabbing.

AU58. Great eye appeal in spite of the small and numerous scratches. I happen to like the toning very much. The strike is full, and all the stars, shield and feathers show great detail. Seems like the no mint had resolved its strike issues at this point. My main concern is the notable rim damage that shows up at 5pm in obv and 1pm in rev. That comes close to earning it the details designation, although I think it squeaks into a straight grade.
