Dear Coincommunity,

I hope I'm posting this in the right place.

Could anyone help me identifying these coins? If someone knows their value even better!

Thanks to all for your help!

Top to bottom:

Ottoman Empire. Left pic is upside down. Need size for denomination.
Commemorative token for Speyer Cathedral. Not a coin.
Indian states, ca. 19th century. Mysore IIRC. Not sure.
Japan late pre-Meiji silver. 1 bu, IIRC. Might not be real.
Nepal, need size for denomination.
Sri Lanka 50 cents 1975.
Egypt 1 pound 1968, Aswan Dam commemorative. Silver. Nice coin!
And finally, a modern replica of medieval coin (not sure which one).

IIRC, it is preferred to post each coin in its own separate thread, incidentally.

Adding on to what january1may said...

The year written on that one is 1277/15, or around 1875 in the Gregorian calendar. Being made of silver, it would be either a 5 or 20 kurus coin, though everything looks spaced out enough for me to belive it is 20 kurus (see here). If it is that one, it should be larger than 24 millimetres.

Mysore indeed. The date of 1215 can be read above the elephant, meaning this 1/2 paisa coin was made in 1786 (see here).

No diameter needed; the denomination is underneath the sword. That would be 1 rupee with the year 2036 on it, or 1979 in the Gregorian calendar (see here).

Thank you very much for your help! I'm truly amazed by your wisdom!!

I forgot to post one picture, this must be an Ottoman coin as well, could you tell me the year and value?

It is a very small coin, diameter about 1 cm.

Yup, that one is also from the Ottoman Empire. 10 millimetres is quite small, since the lowest denomination this one can be (1 kurus) is 14.6 millimetres, but even so, that must be it. The year on this one is 1293/23, which would be around 1897 in the Gregorian calendar.

As for the value, I would suggest looking up any coin (in a similar condition) in the sold listings section on ebay. And coins from the Ottoman Empire might be labeled under Turkey, so keep that in mind when you do search for them. That last coin does not have a low mintage, and so does not seem to be worth much (for an example, see this one).
