I am unable to Identify this Silver Jewish Coin or Token. I spent days goggling this Token or Coin? I think that this is a token since there is no denomination unless it is in Hebrew Text that is surrounding the rim of the Obv. and Rev. For visual comparison I took a picture of this Token with a US Jefferson nickel
OBV: an Irish style of Harp with it appears to be Hebrew text REV: 5 bulls standing under a bowel shaped structure.
Material: Silver
Weight: 7.9 grams
Outside Approx. Diameter: 0.8725
Thickness: 0.114
Thanks for any help

If you can get clearer photos of the words on both sides, that might help. I'm having trouble discerning more than bits and pieces, but I do see that it says shekel in one place. Now I'm curious, too.

Hmm, I'm still having trouble distinguishing certain letters, sorry. Do you maybe have a scanner you could try? I'm no expert with this - I just have a passing familiarity with the Hebrew alphabet and the ability to recognize a few words here and there, plus Google Translate. So I don't have the instinctive knowledge to fill in, say, whether I'm looking at vav or resh!

But I can tell you that the image with the oxen is of what's called the Molten Sea, and I would guess the harp is not Irish but perhaps to do with King David. Also, underneath the Molten Sea is Yiddish - "Klal Yisrael", or the Jewish people.

Okay, so the Molten Sea side, the bottom says something like "in the name of Israel", and the top - I knew it seemed familiar. It's the first part of Exodus 30:15, "The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less". The other side will take a little longer for me to figure out. Hopefully that side will give a further clue as to the identification, if the verse doesn't help. (On a very cursory search, I did find a token with that verse, but it's a different one.)

This appears to be a token/medal commemorating the commandment during the times of the temple that each Jew was to donate a half-shekel coin tp the temple in Jerusalem. The bulls holding the basin is a depiction of the "Sea of Solomon" AKA the "Molten Sea" (as another member mentioned.

Right, I should've mentioned that's the rest of what Exodus 30:15 says!

By the size and shape it seems modern. I am guessing it is a token made by a religious organization.

The writing:

On the Harp side:
above: #1513;#1499;#1512; wage
below: #1500;#1488; #1492;#1500;#1497;#1498; #1514;#1511;#1497;#1503; not legal tender

around it says: Rich won't multiply and those will less won't have less.

It is a saying from the Bible. Means more like: If the rich do not grow richer and they have less, yet the poor won't become poorer, it is only fair to share the wealth.

On the other side it says something like:
Man will give ransom for his soul, half shekel, Holy shekel, for all Israel.

It was related to a time during the holy temple mount 2000 years ago.

Sorry, the numbers were hebrew letters showing the type. The word to the right in english is the translation.
