Very close to AU. I'll say XF-45. One of the most common dates in the series. Minor rim issues at 12:00 but I don't think this would preclude a straight grade. Fairly attractive IMO.

I agree with EF-45, colour is little questionable but that's probably just from circulation.

If there was a cleaning it has long retoned over and should straight grade. I'm at an xf45 too.

There is a possibility that it may have been cleaned. Sometimes the cleaning hairlines only show up at certain angles when you take a picture or look at the piece under a strong light.

I got fooled by this piece years ago that was body bagged (The third party graders refused to slab or grade it.) for cleaning. When you looked at it from certain angles, it looked good, but from others, the cleaining lines were visible.

EF-40, light wear of hair at the right shoulder, ding at the end of shaft and left claw/leg have little wear along with top of edge above "E" in states. Otherwise a strong XF-45.

Much appreciated the comments and helpful information. Sometimes, it's difficult for me to detect or decipher "old cleaning", and when an "old cleaning" is acceptable. As a kid/teenager, I purchased quite a bit of type coins that were cleaned, which I regret.
