You-Vs-PCGS-1873-Newfoundland-10-Cent--With-A-Twist.-Update

I've also seen a fair amount of "you vs TPG" threads so I wanted to try starting my own, but with a small twist:

What I want you to do is make two guesses, one being what you think the TPG graded it, and the other being what you would personally grade it (please don't spoil it if you already know what it graded).

I will post the results on late Tuesday or early Wednesday (assuming I'm not too busy or something).

EDIT: I will upload the results when someone guesses it right.

Probably, PCGS gave it a VF-20 which would be too much IMO

To me the obverse is a nice G-6 by ICCS standards but the reverse is quite a bit better in my opinion, so much infact you might get VG8. So personally I'd say G6-VG8 really, and my standard expectations for non-mintstate Newfoundland Victoria is 1.5-2 grades higher so Ill say PCGS F-15.

And the winner is Talonbat PCGS graded this one a F-15, which as a lot of you said is in my opinion way to high, especially considering that ICCS graded it one a F-12

No coin with that amount of wear should ever be graded F15.

I don't get how the back leaves in the queens wreath are not visible and worn off on the first pics but in the ICCS holder you can see them? it looks like a different coin in the ICCS holder compared to the first images?

Oh I just realized a typo in the other comment, they actually are 2 different coins. I was just pointing out how the f-12 ICCS looks much better than the PCGS f-15.
