Besides using the specific sites as C.C.'s, Ken.P, F.I.R, & whomever else.... has anyone started a Whitman style book foe varieties? Sounds like an odd questions since, it might be out dated as soon as it came out with the different varieties being found. Anyone ever think about this though. I think a Variety book would be cool.

A Lincoln Cent book with all varieties would have a coin count in the thousands.

Whitman owns and publishes the CherryPickers' Guide by J.T. Stanton and Bill Fivaz.

Publishing a bound book of all known Lincoln Cent die varieties would be twice the size of Breen's guide and cost hundreds of dollars to purchase.

If I can get settled down here I will again be working on the Lincoln Cent Attribution Guide I started a couple of years ago. Based on an annual subscription rate like a magazine, pages are sent in packets every couple of months (normally) and can be assembled into a regular three ring binder. That's the only feasable way to publish such a work. Unfortunately I am very late in production and need to pick things back up again...which will happen soon.

C.C..... as to the binder.... would that be in the form of say.. 2X2s.... that would be nice. As you stated though, with as many varieties out there.... it WOULD be a huge book. Again though, it would be very nice to have. I'll keep an eye out for your production on the lot though.
