Nice. They are called "impaired proof" when found in circulation. John1

Surprisingly good condition for an impaired proof, too!

Technically an impaired proof is one that grades lower than a PR-60, just because a proof is found in circulation does not make it impaired.

The only way this can happen is by someone dumping them after their stolen . I can't think of ant other legit reason that makes CENTS !

Panzaldi, " how's it happen?". Some dealer/collector/relative decides it not to be worthwhile retaining, %$&--$$3, its only a "penny", right?

Occasionally people will inherit coins and dump them, not knowing that proof coins retain value. Also I know of some dealers who refuse to buy single carded modern proof coins or impaired proofs, I imagine some of the people who bring them in then just spend them.

Good pickup. Likelihood of a proof coin found in circulation not being impaired is pretty remote, but I suppose if it just picked up a few hairlines it still might get a straight grade.

Judging by what I can see in the photos, it might make PF62

No bad. I usually don't know what to do with the proofs I find in circulation. I usually just take them back to the bank. If you do much coin searching you will end up with several in a short amount of time. Still Lookin
