This coin does have several die scratches that are very hard to see without magnification. Thanks for all who reply

Based on photos 65, shot 66 if there are no hidden scratches and hits.

I don't know about this coin. Why does it look so grainy? Might be a crappy late state die or it was a dip job gone wrong. I suspect the latter. UNC details - cleaning.

I took photos of another Morgan dollar with the same results of the grainy look. I am using a Celestron camera and I do not know if this is causing the grainy look.

Not sure if it's your camera. The grainy stuff looks like what you get from mint flow lines, but those have a pattern that resembles concentric circles. This grainy pattern looks like random spray. There are also some parallel hairlines above liberty's cap, and what appear like milkspots in various places that suggest dipping.

Wow, that looks a little different. These shots actually make it look like the coin has a cloudy prooflike surface that has no cartwheel luster. How does the coin look to you? What does the surface look like to you? Thx.

I will guess ms64 based on revised pics. Could be PL. Could be cleaned. Tough to tell from pics.
