I'm not certain whether the relief chop above the eagle's tail is a decipherable character or merely an abstract symbol of some sort.

Nice clear overdate. I have seen more than one die with the OD in slightly different positions. This one is one of the clearer types and the 1 is left of the example uses for his plate example. I prefer coins with no chops, but these are not too bad.
