I got these coins, along with a few common American coins, from a family member. Just wondering what kind of value they are? I'm new to the hobby, even though I started years ago.

These-

These-

The dates from left to right are 1907, 1876, 1942, 1892, 1912, 1942.

Thank you all for your help.

you can look at this site coinsandcanada.com to get an idea of retail value or check coin by coin on ebay and tick the sold listing box and check for a close match. Keep in mind past history has no bearing on future results ( ebay) and retail (sell ) prices are not going to be the same as (wholesale (buy) prices....

MorganMonument CCF is a good forum for help.

1912 Newfoundland 20 Cents
.925 silver, .075 copper 4.71 grams 23.19 mm
Mintage 350,000
Looks like a circulated coin maybe $10

1907 Newfoundland One Cent
.95 copper, .04 tin, .01 zinc 5.67 grams 25.53 mm
Mintage 200,000
Worn cent, without a close pic my guess $5

1876 One Cent Canada
95.5% copper, 3% tin, 1.5% zinc 5.67 grams 25.4 mm
Mintage 4,000,000
Without a good look, $7

1892 5 Cents
92.5% silver, 7.5% copper 1.16 grams 15.5 mm
Mintage 860,000
Two obverse varieties, circulated $15-25 depending on wear and type

1942 Tombac Nickel
88% copper, 12% zinc 4.54 grams 21.3 mm
Mintage 3,396,234
Just a guess at $1.50 x 2

I went the conservative route on my estimates as the
pictures are small and I can't tell varieties or grade
very well. Worth $50, a coin shop owner may offer half
that. I just paid $7 for a worn 1912 Nfld 20 Cent piece.

Nice find - and very helpful work SilverDon. Hard to tell but I think the 1876 might be a bit nicer than F.
the '42 tombac 5 cents are cool - though low value they have dozens of die breaks and die clashes which can keep you busy for the next millenium.
