Kamnaskires Pillar of the Community United States 7066 Posts	Posted 05/07/2017 6:02 pm The wicker basket/torch reverse and B/VZ/AN/T/I-omega/N in the reverse field suggest Byzantium, Thrace. Edit: I assumed the reverse letters in the fields to be BVZANTI-omega-N...but see now that the Z is an I. Perhaps an misspelling by the engraver? Perhaps an misspelling by the engraver? On the line next to the T we can see how the celator represented upper case Iota. I think the thing with the crossbars is an oddly made uncial Zeta.
