Sww - that set is surely a beautiful thing to see. I personally do not like the TPGs and whole concept of slabbing, but I also think something your set is beautiful in the slabs. shotgung - looks like a good one with no trace of the FG. Many slabbed ones even have a ghosted FG - look at the ones that sell on ebay.

Thank you. My local coin shop guy says he gets more of a thrill finding old coins in great shape and giving them a personal grade. The thrill of finding a naked coin in great shape vs finding a slab coin in great shape....makes the hunt that much more fun. I truly can appreciate that......I'm just not there yet. I can say this....to this day I carry an 1886 Morgan in my pocket from my great grandfather that was given to him by his daddy cause it was the year he was born, and I have a 1986 silver eagle given to me by my grandfather cause it was the year I was born. These coins I value the most
