Hi there,
I recently acquired a small tin of old coins, mostly old UK and silver ones from 1600s onwards.

From what I can see there are some roman coins in there too and I would like help identifying them please.

And if at all possible putting a rough value on them.

The halved coin is a short cross penny. I cannot see what king it is though.

The larger coin is of the Roman emperor Licinius, I believe the smaller coins next to the half Penny are Siliqua of Constantius II.

First, welcome to CCF. Second, the bottom right may be a potin.

InCogKneeToe -

If it's of interest to you, the reverse of your Licinius depicts Jupiter holding Victory, with a bound captive at the former's feet. The inscription reads, "Jupiter the Conservator (of Our Emperors)". The mint mark would seem to indicate it was struck at Thessalonica (Greece).

@MA, while it is neat to see your Roman coins and I'm glad you have posted them, best practice is to start your own thread rather than hijack someone else's thread. I look forward to seeing more of your coins on CCF!
