With so little in the way of detail other than the obvious Christian theme, I'm not sure that I could pin it down to the nearest century. alganbagerap Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 2490 Posts	Posted 05/15/2017 5:25 pm I sell a great deal of religious medals and have become familiar with some of the styles. I still stumble with the Eastern Orthodox devotional items but I'm fairly certain from looking through my attributed items that your medal is probably from somewhere around Sienna, Italy; early to middle C19th. I'm not clear about the significance of the dove, but it does make the medal regionally specific. Report this Post to the Staff
