Happy to be a member, I however came here in order to see if I can get some help identifying this ancient coin (presumably roman) but I'm not sure... it's 3 grams and about 3/4 of an inch... Appreciate all the help I can get thanks- Jake

Many other places had pellets of course. And you really need to show the other side for more help. For example it looks like you have letters visible, which would not be Himera. I cropped your photo and enhanced a bit. The roman republic also used pellets a lot on bronze. Weight and size needs to be posted as well.
