Just got these two Chinese coins and I can't read them so I don't know much about them (one has 44 other has 47)

Not Chinese, Japanese. 44th year of the reign of Hirohito = 1969. 47 = 1972.

Just want to add in - these are standard Japanese circulation coins. You know, those you find in circulation. A good rule of thumb I have is that 1 Japanese Yen is about equal to 0.01 USD, so these are worth $1 each in exchange rate value. Of course, this varies day to day but it's an easy way to think.
