not sure what you mean by 'flipper' notes, but in my experience, these number combinations aren't valuable.

Star notes generally command a worthwhile premium only when fresh from a BEP pack and NEVER handled.

The exception would be error notes with mis-matched serial numbers, then circulated condition is acceptable.

If by "flipper" you mean "spender", I agree.

I just heard in some of the YouTube vids about bank strap searching that guys would save notes that would still read a legible number when you flip the bill upside down... don't really know if that is a thing that people buy off the bay...

I'm definitely hoping my bank can hook me up with unc bep wraps... so far no luck, but I just got started searching serial numbers recently...

I have ordered $2,000 in $2 bills from my bank... we will see if they come circulated or new... it is a fun distraction searching serial numbers rather than sorting coins all day long... gives my neck and eyes some much needed rest.

Well good luck! The odds of finding a bingo S/N in circulated straps are long indeed.
Rest in Peace

A Rotator Serial Number is a number that doesn't change if read upside down.

Sorry, but yours are spenders.

Keep hunting.

I believe the term "Flipper" was derived from ebay in hopes to turn a non-Fancy serial number into a premium. However if one was to consider a number to be a "Flipper" I would think it would have consist of only 1's, 8's, and 0's (then you would have a Trinary), but then again how would you be flipping the number? I was a bit curious about this so I made a quick reference, however I think there are way too many variables to even consider this a valid "Fancy Serial Number" catagory

I have been thinking about this Flipper number deal, I don't think I will buying any but I may make a little hunt out of it, if I find it cool, if not no big deal. I have a number in mind that falls within these numbering combos, pretty slim chances though, wish full thinking I guess. Also in my quick ref guide I think I left out a flip. Picture the ________ as the 8 numbers and @ as the pivot point (the first 2 are my ref guide);

coin align @________@

a@
__________medal align
a@

pivot at first number @________
