Any room for improvement with these photos? I've been trying to get my lighting correct and these are about the best I've come up with.

Referring to the first photo:

- Need to rotate coin so the key features/devices are level/horizontal. In the case of the Morgan dollar, the date should be level
- Right side of coin is slightly out of focus. Probably a bit tilted
- Sharpness could be slightly increased
- Saturation could be slightly increased as it looks a little "flat"
- Black levels are a bit high, so it looks a little washed-out
- I don't like the choppiness or the abruptness of the circle crop
- Background is a bit on the blue side

Thanks. Any idea how I could adjust for lower black levels so it doesn't look as washed out?

There are lots of programs to adjust levels. I use DPP. Here is your pic with a bit of sharpness and saturation adjustment, plus fixed white balance (assuming your background was white), plus bringing down the black levels. This is of course in isolation from the coin, and just adjusting the image to photographic standards. This method assumes the original image is good raw material and that simple adjustments can be made to improve the photographic quality without compromising faithfulness to the coin.
