Had just about given up finding one of these ... then when you least expect it I got this in my change today from Woolies! The funny thing is I was owed $7 in change and was given a $5 note, a $1 coin and two 50c coins, one of which was a Mabo.
I have two from circulation. It is the only way I collect commemorative coins. Have around 95% of the different types in all denominations, issued into circulation since 1966.
Costs me face value only, and keeps me current in the issue of Australian coins generally.
I did the same for U.S. States quarters as issued into circulation, (complete) when I was in America.
