It's hard to read the color/luster from those images and MS grades on these gold pieces are critical to determining the grade. It could make 64 if the luster is all there.

Much better. The obverse has a shot at 65 but the lower half of the reverse keeps it at 64. It's a nice looking piece.

I see a lot of nicks. That's not strange for a gold coin since gold is the softest of the coining metals. But I don't think they're bag marks. I think the coin has been mishandled/stored. It might not grade as original.

Hard to tell from the pictures if the surface has dings or raised bumps. Cannot say it is genuine.

Lady Liberty has a slightly flat nose, unfortunately.
As humans, we are programmed to look at faces, so that we can identify each other. A tiny nose flat stands out much more that it otherwise would do so for other flattened high points of the design. A common problem with St Gaudens Twentys. Sometimes not completely struck up, sometimes a hit, sometimes wear.
First picture shows dents in rays (which is quite common), and quite a few tiny digs both sides. Rims are quite OK. Fields are a bit rough in the first pictures, but I will give it the benefit of the doubt. Worn dies can do this.
Americans are very tough graders on their own gold, and so grading in anything above MS60 significantly affects the value of the coins. Large gold is far more sensitive to damage than small gold.
MS62 or 3.

I agree in the MS62 - MS63 range...but it's hard to grade a photograph.
Congrats on owing one!

The 1908 No Motto $20 gold is noted for mushy strikes and so-so luster. That makes them harder to grade, and the services can be tough on them. This one probably falls in the MS-62 - 63 range.
