Hi there I have been given a load of coins some really old some not so old but I do not have a clue what to do or even what they are I have tried to upload a photo but again I can't seem to work that either help

Click on 'Switch to full reply' button -> 'Upload Image' link below white box where you write the post -> select image file from computer -> click on 'Upload File to Ededdeddie's post' - wait for it to upload -> 'Close window'.
It should then appear (in link form) in the white box where the message is being written.

First thing is don't clean coins and handle them properly.
