The mint just press released that the new 2017 coins are in circulation, as of June 1, and encouraged the whole country to collect them.
Hope there will be some left for us.
Did get the first toonie coloured as well this week. "We are poor little lambs...who have lost our way...Baa...Baa...Baa"

I bought a roll of the quarters off the girl at the beer store after noticing some quarters in the change I got from my empties. It's a mint roll with the 2017 design on each side with one in colour. Not bad for face value... With beer

I have not found any yet. went to many many banks. Would be nice to get some at face value and not have to pay extra for them.

I opened a roll of 2017 toonies today and there were 13 coloured coins in the roll.

Man... I went to the mint yesterday and they ran out by the time I could get there... I guess I'm going to be buying bank boxes of twoonies from now on to see if I can find a few....

The banks in my area are limiting the number of rolls you can purchase. There seems to be a fair amount of demand for the coloured toonie rolls.
