Not sure if you guys watch the show, but the opening started with Jimmy aka Saul Goodman breaking into his dad's old convenience store to find his coin collection stored in a can hidden in the rafters.

He pulls out an Indian penny and quote: "Indian penny, worth 3 bucks. We'll polish it up and sell it for $300."

Yes it's deceptive but we need more coverage like this from the Hollywood studios to keep the hobby alive.

I got into coin collecting when I was 8 from watching reruns of Denise The Menace.

That's how most of us start coin collecting by pulling them from circulation!

Right more Hollywood telling people to clean and polish their coins before they try and sell them. Then it will be more like "Well it was worth $300 before you polished it up, now it's worth $3."

I saw it last night.

On a previous season he ran a con with a Kennedy half dollar claiming it was valuable because Kennedy was facing the wrong way. He was not. It worked because many people are not familiar with it.
