Hi Snaz

Judging from the pictures none of these are Amprior,to many water lines detail on all 2 coins.

Snaz,
The first coin looks like fewer water lines than coin 2 which appears normal.
Coin #1 almost resembles the SWL of '50-51, although my book doesn't list a '55.
Photos are often incomplete on details--are portions of the water lines missing?

snaz, I would have to agree with andre, looks like too many water lines to be a Arnprior.

Is that corrosion on one of the coins?

Hi agree with Kurt the first coin could be a 1 1/2 water line but stil I can see another faided line under the second line, unless I have a problem with my eyes that is what I see on a 22" monitor screen.

hmm ok.. well, Upon closer inspection I too agree that neither are Arnprior. But the coin #2 seems to only have 3 water lines.. as opposed to 4. ( I'm not trying to make it into something it isn't, I just have troubles with the water lines sometimes.)

Hey Snaz

My self what I do when I want to make sure of any error on a coin is that I use a microscope or a loupe with some light and turn the coin to any position will looking at a specific place, sometime you see things that you don't think that they are there,a faded line may not appear to be there but sometime with the magic of light you get to see it.

yah.. definitly use a loupe.. LOL believe me, I spend ALOT of time looking at coins under 10 and 15 times Loupes.. The thing that confuses me, is that in the 59th and 62nd editions of the Charlton Guide is that they describe your water line picture with 3 lines, as 4 water lines in my books. So when you read the latest Charlton's Guides, and see that the common is 4 water lines.. then look at Coin #1 .. theres no way theres 4 water lines there
